Silver plating on metal

Silver plating treatments for metal

Silver plating is used for both decorative and functional purposes and also has applications in electrical engineering, as it enhances electrical conductivity and adds thickness to engine parts, creating a highly reflective surface that is ideal for optical applications. Immersion baths are used for applying silver plating to ferrous metals, copper and brass.

Industrial silver plating

Industrial silver plating is used for electromechanical parts, steel nuts and electrical contacts made of copper, as silver is highly conductive and therefore ideal for electrical contacts.

Decorative silver plating

Decorative silver plating is applied to individual items requested by customers for decorative purposes, to give the surface a lustrous, polished finish.
